What to do what to do

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

So, I’m still trying to decide what to do with this blog, or even if it’s worth continuing.  I go through spurts of writing in it, but obviously I don’t write regularly… and really, who wants to read a general purpose blog about nothing inparticular.  Perhaps I should find a niche.  Or stop.  I’ll probably do neither, of course.

Blogging

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

The problem with blogging is that whenever enough is going on that you have something to blog about, you’re too busy to blog.

What has happened in the last couple weeks?

The Giants are NFC Champions.

Bush is a giant turd (nothing new there).

Fred Thompson dropped out of the race.

Stewart & Colbert are back on the air.

Eli Manning is my hero.

I need a permanent job.

Eli is the real Manning.

I beat the interwebz.

Solitaire is awesome.

But I don’t have time to blog about any of those.

Changed Software Already?

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

OK, so after about… 30 minutes… on Movable Type, I changed this over to Wordpress… primarily because MT isn’t written in PHP, and that… sucks.

What the hell do people write in these things?

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

So, after years of resisting the “blogging” thing, I guess I have to admit defeat now that I have this. Will I ever use it? Who knows. What the hell do people write on these things? It’s all a little too public for me, but I guess most of my life is in public anyway, considering all the .com’s I run.

On a sidenote, this Moveable Type software is pretty good, except that you have to actually know the URL to get into the management console to write a post. Somehow I think that that could probably be made easier… like ya know… a link.

Hello world!
